Dr. Mohammad Ali Dehghan was born in Rafsanjan in 1961. He has received his bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1985 from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. In the same year he got accepted in Shiraz University for the master's program in mathematics. During this period which coincided with the war imposed on Iran by Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath regime, Mr Dehghan decided to take part in the battle fronts to fulfill his commitment to the country and the Islamic revolution. In 1994 he succeeded in defending his doctoral dissertation in mathematics at Shahid Bahonar University.
